24Hour Hazwoper Training Course

OSHA 24 hou r training course is one of the five levels of training courses that is included in the Hazwoper or Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response regulations. It is required by only those employees who are visiting an uncontrolled hazardous waste site. Those workers who are employed to work occasionally on an uncontrolled hazardous waste site are required to undergo the 24 hour Hazwoper training. Their tasks include land surveying, geographical surveying and ground water surveying. These workers are likely to be exposed to chemicals over the legal exposure limit. A minimum of 1 day of supervised field experience is required for these workers. The 24 hour Hazwoper training should address all the health and safety hazards of hazardous waste sites and the control methods that should be taken for curbing these hazards.
